Stephen Pilch focuses on the ongoing management and oversight of Stockbridge’s opportunity fund investments and its operating partners as well as the day-to-day operations of Stockbridge. As Chief Compliance Officer, Mr. Pilch also oversees Stockbridge's compliance and regulatory matters, including its reporting as an SEC Registered Investment Advisor. He has 28 years of real estate industry experience and has worked extensively in asset management, portfolio management, property development and acquisitions. Prior to joining Stockbridge, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Divco West Properties (Divco) where he was responsible for the oversight of all the operations at Divco and its Page Mill Properties Fund, including investment services, asset management, property management, construction management, leasing and marketing. Mr. Pilch has previous experience as a Senior Vice President at Cornerstone Properties, a national real estate investment trust, and as Managing Director in charge of West Coast Real Estate Investments at Aetna Life & Casualty. He holds an M.B.A. in Finance from Fordham University and a B.S. in Finance from Fairfield University. He is a member of the Policy Advisory Board of the Fisher Center at the University of California, a member of the Urban Land Institute and serves on the Board of the San Mateo County Economic Development Association.
