Hands-On Approach
We believe that successful real estate investing requires first-hand knowledge of the real estate itself, a principle often forgotten in more "transaction based" environments.  Stockbridge will not commit to any property acquisition for a separate account client until at least three of our senior professionals visit the subject property, interact with brokers in the market and assess the physical condition of the building.  Stockbridge maintains a "hands on" asset management philosophy. Our investment professionals are involved in all major leasing and capital investment decisions and interact regularly with local property managers and other service providers.
